Travel, A Huge Part Of Our Life Together

40 years.  Almost two-thirds of our lives have been spent together.  Kids, grandkids, good times, not so good times.  But through all of our trials and tribulations, one constant has been travel.  

From the first time we loaded up the car and headed to California in the early 80's to a cross country move to Indianapolis to Paris, China and Africa...  we've loved every second of it.

This June we will be taking our 40th Anniversary trip to five countries in Europe.  We'll be touching base in Iceland, Germany, Denmark, Poland and the Czech Republic with some extreme excitement planned along the way.  I've spent a year laying out this trip, researching, mapping, reserving, cancelling and reserving again.  And, of course, there's a few surprises planned along the way.

After one of our last trips, I remarked to Sonja that I didn't think anyone was reading these travel blogs.  Her response has always stayed with me.  "Bill, your grand children will read these blogs."
